Allocate $60,000 in CDBG funds and in matching funds for the following <br /> street and sidewalk improvement projects: <br /> A. Norton Avenue - 3600 Block <br /> Replace approximately 20 feet of raised/broken sidewalk on the east <br /> side of the 3600 block of Norton Avenue. <br /> B. East side of Terrace Drive - 42nd Street to 43rd Street <br /> (North side of 43rd Street) Terrace Drive to alley west of Rucker <br /> Avenue. Construct new sidewalk behind existing curb and gutter. <br /> C. 36th Street/Friday Avenue Intersection <br /> Construct concrete curb returns and improve storm drainage at the <br /> northwest corner of the intersection of 36th Street and Friday Avenue. <br /> D. East side of Terrace Drive - 43rd Street to 44th Street <br /> Construct new sidewalk behind existing curb and gutter. <br /> E. Grand Avenue - 3400 block <br /> Replace cracked sidewalk in front of 3401 Grand Avenue. <br /> F. 33rd Street/Oakes Avenue Intersection <br /> Replace approximately 130 feet of broken sidewalk on the northeast <br /> corner of 32nd Street and Oakes Avenue intersection. <br /> G. 35th Street - Wetmore to Rockefeller <br /> Construct new curbs, gutter, and sidewalks on both sides of 35th Street. <br /> H. High Street - 38th Street to 41st Street <br /> Replace broken and cracked sidewalks as needed on both sides of the <br /> street. <br /> I. 33rd Street - Lombard Avenue to Broadway Street <br /> Construct new curb and sidewalk and pave graveled parking area on the <br /> north side of 33rd Street. <br /> J. Wall Street - Bond Street to Federal Avenue <br /> Replace existing curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the north side of the <br /> street including minor street widening and landscaping. <br /> D. Riverside <br /> 1 . Allocate $3,000 of CDBG funds for a local history of Riverside Project. <br /> 2. Allocate $54,000 in CDBG funds and matching funds for the replacement of <br /> hazardous sidewalks throughout the Riverside Neighborhood. (Please see <br /> attached list for location of sidewalks. ) <br /> Section 3: Should costs be less for the above projects than originally estimated, <br /> projects receiving the next highest neighborhood priority shall be included for <br /> funding. If project costs exceed the estimates given, the lowest priority pro- <br /> ject or projects will be dropped for funding. <br /> Section 4: If any of the above projects is started but not completed, completion <br /> of the project(s) will be automatically funded with any 1984 Block Grant funds <br /> received by the neighborhood where an uncompleted project is located. <br /> Section 5: All of the above projects shall conform to the requirements of the <br /> City Ordinance 555-78, as amended by City Ordinances 655-80 and 793-81 . Deter- <br /> mination of the appropriate standards to impose shall be made by the City Engineer. <br /> Section 6: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized is <br /> $123,352 which will include all costs related to design, construction, contract <br /> administration, plan development and associated costs. <br />
