NONCONFORMING USES. <br /> 2 The nonconforming use provisions set forth in Ordinance <br /> No. 659-80 (EMC 19.56) shall not apply to adult entertainment <br /> 3 facilities. <br /> 4 Rather, adult entertainment facilities which as a direct result of <br /> the adoption of this ordinance constitute nonconforming uses in the <br /> 5 zone in which located, may continue to operate during this interim <br /> period provided they meet the requirements of all other ordinances <br /> 6 and statutes and do not expand. However, all other adult <br /> entertainment facilities must comply with the requirements of this <br /> 7 ordinance. " <br /> 8 <br /> Section 3: That Ordinance No. 499-78 is hereby amended by the addition of <br /> 9 <br /> the following new section entitled: "Prohibited Uses" which shall read as follows: <br /> 10 <br /> A. Adult entertainment facilities <br /> 11 <br /> Section 4: That Subsection D of Section 15 of Ordinance No. 3572 which reads <br /> 12 <br /> as follows: <br /> 13 <br /> 14 "Prohibited uses. <br /> 15 A. Dwelling units, except for watchman or caretaker; <br /> B. Hotels, motels; <br /> 16 C. Hospitals; <br /> D. Schools; <br /> 17 E. Playgrounds; <br /> F. Rooming, boarding and lodging houses; <br /> 18 G. Sanitariums, rest homes and homes for the aged." <br /> 19 <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read hereafter as follows: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 "Prohibited uses. <br /> 22 A. Dwelling units, except for watchman or caretaker; <br /> 23 B. Hotels, motels; <br /> C. Hospitals; <br /> 24 D. Schools; <br /> E. Playgrounds; <br /> 25 F. Rooming, boarding and lodging houses; <br /> G. Sanitariums, rest homes and homes for the aged; <br /> 26 H. Adult entertainment facilities." <br /> 27 Section 5: That this ordinance will be in effect until December 31, 1984, <br /> 28 unless extended by the Everett City Council or earlier terminated.
