that any official responsible for accounts and finances shal-1 <br /> file a fidelity bond in an amount determined by the public <br /> corporation before taking office, and may hold the corporate <br /> office only as long as such a bond continues in effect. <br /> Section . 250 Code of ethics--Conflict of interest. <br /> Members of the Board of Directors and its officers shall be <br /> governed by this ordinance and amendments thereto <br /> and state laws regarding ethical conduct and conflict of interest <br /> standards . <br /> Section . 260 Discrimination prohibited. <br /> A. Neither Board of Directors membership nor Membership <br /> membership may directly or indirectly be based upon or limited by <br /> age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status , <br /> sexual orientation, political ideology, or the physical handicap <br /> of a capable person. <br /> B. To assure equality of employment opportunity, the public <br /> corporation: <br /> 1. Will not discriminate in employment because of age, <br /> race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, maritri <br /> status , sexual orientation, or political ideology, or against a <br /> physically handicapped person capable of performing the work; <br /> 2 . All appointments to the Board of Directors shall be <br /> subject to the concurrence of the City Council , provided that any <br /> person whose name has been submitted to the City Council shall , <br /> unless and until his or her name has been rejected by the City <br /> Council , have the full powers and responsibilities of any Board <br /> of Directors member who had received such concurrence. <br /> C.
