Hale 420 47th ST SE Everett, WA 98203 Project address: 420 47th St SE Building use: Single family Residence Investigation Number: W0812-002 INSPECTION REPORT Dear Mr. Hale; On February 19, 2009 an inspection was made at the property noted above in response to a complaint. The inspection found the single family building undergoing a two-story addition and remodel without construction permits as required by Everett Residential Code Section R105.1. A Stop Work order was then issued for the project. On August 11, 2009 in compliance with the Hearing Examiner Order dated July 30, 2009 inspections were conducted within the building at the address noted above. The purpose of these inspections are for city staff to familiarize itself with the project, help determine the extent of work that has taken place without permits and help determine compliance paths and permit requirements as well as determining the level of hazard the building posses to the users. The list below denotes significant issues that were found to be out of compliance within the building based on non-destructive investigations. It is important to note however that not all of the possible deficiencies in the building were or could have been found based on these limited inspections. For a comprehensive investigation, owners are encouraged to secure the services of licensed design professionals and contractors. As this is not a complete list, additional issues may therefore arise during subsequent plan review and inspection. Code references include the 2006 Everett Building code (EBC), 2006 Everett Residential Code (ERC), 2006 Everett Fire Code (EFC), 1997 Everett Housing (EHC), 2006 Everett Pluming Code (EPC), 2006 Everett Mechanical Code (EMC) and 2005 Everett Electrical Code (EEC).
