July 30,2009 <br /> I recall having a conversation with Steve Hale in early February of 2009 in reference to an addition that <br /> had been done without permits,to his house located at 420 47th St SE. He stated that the house was a <br /> two-story structure when he purchased it. I went to the Snohomish County WA Assessor-Treasurer <br /> Parcel Inquiry web site to get the name of the person that had sold the house to Mr. Hale. The site <br /> indicated that a Mr. Mark C.Whitman had sold the property to Mr. Hale in July of 2003. I located the <br /> phone number for Mr.Whitman and called him to inquire about the property. When I asked Mr. <br /> Whitman if the house had 2 stories, he told me that it did not.
