1 B. Angle Parking. <br /> 2 1. Upon those streets which have been signed or marked for angle <br /> parking, no person shall park or stand a vehicle other than at the <br /> 3 angle to the curb or edge of the roadway indicated by such signs or <br /> markings. The wheels nearest the curb or edge of the roadway <br /> 4 shall be no more than twelve inches away from said curb or edge. <br /> 5 2. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in any space which has <br /> been signed or marked for angle parking so that the vehicle, or any <br /> 6 portion thereof, extends into the traveled portion of the roadway <br /> so that the vehicle either obstructs, endangers or is likely to <br /> 7 obstruct or endanger pedestrians or traffic. <br /> 8 C. Parking On Grade. Notwithstanding the requirements set forth in this <br /> 9 section, no person shall stand or park a vehicle upon any perceptible grade without first <br /> 10 turning the front wheels to the curb or the side of the roadway. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Section 5: Improper Stopping, Standing, or Parking. <br /> 13 A. No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in any designated parking <br /> 14 space so that any part of such vehicle occupies more than one such space, protrudes <br /> 15 beyond the makings designating such space or protrudes into the maneuvering lines, <br /> 16 except that a vehicle which is of a size too large to be parked within a single designated <br /> 17 parking space shall be permitted to occupy two or more adjoining spaces which are not <br /> 18 otherwise restricted. <br /> 19 B. No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in any parking space for a <br /> 20 period of time longer than the period allowed in that time zone. Once a vehicle <br /> 21 remains in a parking space beyond the time which the time zone permits, each <br /> 22 subsequent period of time for which the vehicle remains beyond the period of time <br /> 23 allowed in that time zone shall constitute a separate violation. <br /> 24 C. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in any parking space which is <br /> 25 designated "Motorcycle Only" unless the person stops, stands or parks a motorcycle as <br /> 26 defined herein within the designated parking space. Motorcycle spaces will be <br /> 27 appropriately designated by the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> 28 D. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in any parking space which is <br /> 29 designated "Small Cars Only" unless the person stops, stands or parks a "small car" as <br /> 30 defined herein within the designated parking space. "Small cars"shall be those vehicles <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -9- <br />
