Within twenty feet of the driveway entrance to any fire <br /> station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance <br /> 2 to any fire station within seventy-five feet of said <br /> entrance when properly signed; <br /> 3 <br /> f. At any place where official signs prohibit standing; or <br /> 4 <br /> g. At any place where City barricades are placed. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 3. Park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except temporarily for <br /> 7 the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading <br /> 8 property or passengers: <br /> 9 <br /> a. Within fifty feet of the nearest rail of a railroad <br /> 10 crossing; or <br /> 11 b. At any place where official signs prohibit parking. <br /> 12 <br /> 4. Reserve or attempt to reserve any portion of a street or alley for <br /> 13 <br /> the purpose of stopping, standing, or parking to the exclusion of <br /> 14 <br /> any other like person, nor shall any person be granted such right. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 B. Parking or standing shall be permitted in the manner provided by law at <br /> 17 all other places except where a time limitation or parking restriction has been imposed. <br /> 18 C. No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his or her control into <br /> 19 any such prohibited area or away from a curb such a distance as is prohibited. <br /> 20 Section 4: Stopping, Standing, or Parking Next to Curb. <br /> 21 A. Parallel Parking. <br /> 22 1. Every vehicle standing or parked upon a two-way roadway shall <br /> 23 have the right hand wheels parallel to and within twelve inches of <br /> the right hand curb or as close as practicable to the right edge of <br /> 24 the right-hand shoulder. <br /> 25 2. Every vehicle standing or parked upon a one-way roadway shall be <br /> parallel to the curb or edge of the roadway, in the direction of <br /> 26 authorized traffic movement, with its right-hand wheels within <br /> twelve inches of the right-hand curb or as close as practicable to <br /> 27 the right edge of the right-hand shoulder, or with its left-hand <br /> wheels within twelve inches of the left-hand curb or as close as <br /> 28 practicable to the left edge of the lefthand shoulder. <br /> 29 3. In the event a highway includes two or more separate roadways, no <br /> person shall stand or park a vehicle upon the left-hand side of such <br /> 30 one-way roadway unless signs are erected to permit such standing <br /> or parking. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -8- <br />
