• <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 1 Section 19: Vehicle Back to Curb. <br /> 2 No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle backed to the curb or at an angle to <br /> 3 the curb on any City street except when specifically authorized by posted signs. <br /> 4 Section 20: Parking Zones. <br /> 5 No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in a parking space beyond the time <br /> 6 permitted by official signs. <br /> 7 Section 21: Parking Trailers, Campers, Motor Homes and Trucks. <br /> 8 A. No person shall detach and park any trailer or camper upon any street or <br /> 9 alley. <br /> 10 B. Persons stopping, standing, or parking trailers which are attached to <br /> 11 towing vehicles shall abide by all parking regulations as set forth in this Ordinance. <br /> 12 C. No person shall stand or park a truck, motor home, or truck <br /> 13 tractor-trailer combination which has a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight in excess <br /> 14 of sixteen thousand (16,000) pounds, a length in excess of twenty (20) feet or a width in <br /> 15 excess of eight (8) feet upon any portion of a street or alley within any residential zone <br /> 16 as defined in the City's Zoning Code and Zoning Map except when: <br /> 17 1. Property is actively loaded or unloaded from such vehicle; or <br /> 18 2. The vehicle is a City vehicle or public utility vehicle providing a <br /> service for the public; or <br /> 19 <br /> 3. The vehicle is an emergency vehicle; or <br /> 20 <br /> 4. Such vehicle is currently used at and is located at a specific <br /> 21 location within a residential zone for the purpose of assisting in the <br /> providing of services such as construction, carpentry, plumbing or <br /> 22 landscaping to such residence or location. <br /> 23 Provided, however, motor homes can stand or park on a City street in a <br /> 24 residential zone for a maximum period of twenty four (24) hours provided said vehicles <br /> 25 do not violate any parking restrictions (such as posted time zones) and meet all other <br /> 26 parking regulations. <br /> 27 Section 22: Use of Streets and Alleys. <br /> 28 The purpose of City streets and alleys is to facilitate vehicular and pedestrian <br /> 29 travel and provide corridors for utilities. Those uses which are inconsistent with this <br /> 30 purpose are prohibited unless otherwise approved by the City through such processes as <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -15- <br />
