Section 4: This ordinance shall authorize the development of <br /> multi-purpose recreational facilities and shall <br /> appropriate funds for the accomplishment of this <br /> project on the 60-acre tract known as Kasch <br /> Memorial Park. <br /> Section 5: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein <br /> authorized is $922, 000, which will include all costs <br /> related to site preparation and project construction. <br /> Section 6: The City Services Director is hereby given the respon- <br /> sibility of conducting all tasks outlined in Section <br /> 4 above. <br /> Section 7: The sum of $922, 000 is hereby appropriated to <br /> Fund 342 , "Kasch Park Construction" for specific <br /> phases of development. <br /> A. Site Preparation - Expense $ 100, 500 <br /> Site preparation shall include <br /> surveying, cutting and clearing <br /> of standing timber, clearing, <br /> grading and graveling of a <br /> primary access road. <br /> B. Site Preparation - Revenues $ 100, 500 <br /> The source of funds for this <br /> phase are as follows: <br /> 1. Fed. Revenue Sharing $50,000 <br /> 2. General Fund 22 , 000 <br /> 3 . Park Fund 10, 500 <br /> 4 . Sale of Timber 8 , 000 <br /> 5 . Interest Earnings 10 , 000 <br /> C. Phase I - Baseball Fields - Expense $ 521, 500 <br /> Phase I shall include clearing, <br /> grading and seeding of two ball- <br /> fields, overhead illumination, <br /> fencing, parking lot, underground <br /> utilities and a continuation of <br /> the access road. <br /> D. Phase I - Baseball Fields - Revenue $ 521, 500 <br /> The source of funds for this phase <br /> are as follows: <br /> 1. IAC Grant $150, 000 <br /> 2. General Fund 346, 500 <br /> 3 . Community Transit 25, 000 <br /> E. Phase II - Soccer Field - Expense $ 300, 000 <br /> This phase shall include clearing, <br /> grading, substrata preparation and <br /> seeding of the soccer field, <br /> jogging trail, drainage, parking <br /> and a picnic shelter area. <br />
