<br /> Furnishing and applying tack coat, prime coat, joint seal and crack sealing asphalt is to be
<br /> included in this bid item with no direct compensation made. All costs for "Anti Stripping
<br /> Additive" and "Compaction Adjustment" shall be included in the unit contract price per ton of
<br /> the HMA with no direct compensation made.
<br /> The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work
<br /> necessary to furnish, place, compact, roll and perform density tests on ATB placed in
<br /> accordance with the Plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions.
<br /> Bid Item 39 - HM, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 Overlay
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton (TON) I
<br /> Measurement for HMA, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 Overlay, shall be by the ton, recorded on certified
<br /> weight tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT for ATB placed within
<br /> the limits of dimensions defined in the Work or shown on the Plans, Standard
<br /> Specifications, Section 4-06 of these Special Provisions, or as otherwise approved by the
<br /> Engineer. The measurement and payment limits for measuring the width of this bid item
<br /> shall not exceed the limits shown on the Plans. No deduction will be made for the weight of
<br /> asphalt binder, blending sand, mineral filler, or other component of the mixture.
<br /> The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work
<br /> necessary to plane off, load, and haul 1-1/2" existing asphalt pavement, provide tack,
<br /> furnish, place, compact, roll and perform density tests on HMA placed in accordance with
<br /> the Plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions.
<br /> Bid Item 40 - Cement Concrete Sidewalk Restoration I
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY)
<br /> Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by
<br /> the Inspector and adjacent property owner prior to removal.
<br /> The unit price per square yard for restoration of existing concrete sidewalks shall be full
<br /> compensation for final sawcut and all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to
<br /> complete the work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard111
<br /> Specifications and these Special Provisions.
<br /> Bid Item 41 - Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter, Type 1
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF)
<br /> Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the
<br /> Inspector prior to removal. I
<br /> The unit price per linear foot for restoration of concrete curbs or curb and gutter and shall
<br /> be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete
<br /> the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications
<br /> and these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal.
<br /> Bid Item 42 - Concrete Curb Ramp, Type D
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each
<br /> Measurement shall be by each Concrete Curb Ramp Type unit completed as
<br /> specified.
<br /> The unit price per each Concrete Curb Ramp Type shall be full compensation for all
<br /> materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work in accordance with
<br /> the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions,
<br /> including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal.
