Boeing 40-37 S2Ction 1 <br /> Job: 111025 Fire Alarm System Submittal Manuai Page 1 <br /> GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: <br /> Replace the existing ADT sprinkler system monitoring, take over the elevator functions on <br /> . elevator 73, monitor the elevator panel at elevator 72, take over control panel in the CDR <br /> room, and replace the existing ADT pressure pumps with new water flow switches. <br /> GENERAL DESCRIPTION: <br /> The Boeing 40-37 shall consist of the following primary elements. Smoke detection in the <br /> elevator lobby's, pits, shafts and machine room. 6" bells in the lobby on each floor. Relays to <br /> close fire smoke damper, recall elevator and trigger the fire hat light. Monitor modules to <br /> monitor the shunt trip beaker and heat detectors in the shaft and machine room. Monitor all <br /> existing sprinkler risers and valves. Monitoring by Tyco. <br /> FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL (FACP): <br /> The fire alarm and control panel is an existing Siemens model XLS micro-processor based <br /> multiplex type with'an internal operating system that is used to process incoming signals and <br /> issue output commands as required by system programming or by manua! inputs. The FACP <br /> consists of a main control board, annunciator/keypad, analog loop drivers, module card cage, <br /> power supply/battery charger and batteries. Visual annunciation is provided by an 80 <br /> character, liquid crystal display and alarm, supervisory and troubfe status indicator lamps. <br /> EVACUATION ALARMS: <br /> Notice of building evacuation is provided by 6" motor bells at the elevators. <br /> Seatronics, Inc.
