• ORDINANCE NO. 9%X. AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property west of Kasch Park to the City of Everett WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130 was signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix March 11, 1983, for hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval of the annexation; and WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth; WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their April 19, 1983 regular meeting, decline to involve jurisdiction in this matter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: That portion of the west half of Section 14, Township 28 North, Range 4 East, Willamette Meridian, Snohomish County, Washington, described as follows: Commencing at the west quarter corner of said Section 14, thence S 89° 58' 12" E along the east-west centerline of said Section 14 a distance of 1791.23 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N 0° 53' 34" W 1218.641 feet; thence N 89° 48' 49" W 600.107 feet; thence S 0° 53' 34" E 1452.000 feet; thence S 89° 48' 49" E 600.127 feet; thence N 0° 53' 52" W 233.359 feet to the true point of beginning.
