I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> existing pipe and existing inlet in accordance with Detail 5, Sheet 11; providing, <br /> compacting, and testing bedding and backfill materials; cleanup; and any additional work, <br /> materials, and equipment required to complete the Work as specified; except, as included <br /> in other unit price bids. <br /> Bid Item 41 - Catch Basin, Type 1 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each <br /> The unit price per each for the inlet or the type and size of catch basin shall be full <br /> compensation for all labor, material, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to <br /> satisfactorily complete the work as defined in these Contract Documents. <br /> The unit price for each inlet and catch basin shall be full compensation for furnishing, <br /> hauling, and assembling in place the completed installation including inlets, catch basins, <br /> frames and grates, pipe connections, special fittings, and joint materials up to a depth of <br /> 10-ft as measured from the flowline of the outlet pipe to the surface of the Work measured <br /> to the nearest foot. <br /> The unit price for each inlet and catch basin shall also include, but not be limited to, all <br /> costs for excavation; removal of pavement, curb, gutter and sidewalk, hauling and <br /> disposing of surplus or unsuitable material; dewatering; furnishing and installing couplings; <br /> furnishing and installing steps or ladder; placing and compacting of suitable native backfill; <br /> furnishing, placing, and compacting foundation material as required; cleaning and flushing <br /> catch basins; reconnecting existing storm drainage connections; furnishing and installing <br /> gas traps; and replacing; protecting, and maintaining utilities. <br /> Include all costs associated with removing and disposing of existing catch basins and inlets <br /> as shown on the plans in the unit price for this bid item. <br /> Adjusting new catch basin inlets to final grade is incidental and shall be included in the unit <br /> price for this bid item. <br /> Include the cost of connection of pipes to the inlet or catch basin in the unit price for this bid <br /> I item. <br /> Measurement and payment shall be per each catch basin inlet installed as measured upon <br /> completion. <br /> 111 Bid Item 42 - Saw-Cutting Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Final Joint Cut, Up To 6-Inch <br /> Thickness <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) <br /> Measurement for saw-cutting will be per linear foot along the true length of the surface cut. <br /> The unit price per lineal foot for the final saw-cutting of asphalt concrete pavement, up to 6- <br /> inch thickness, shall be full compensation for all labor, material, tools, and equipment <br /> necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as specified in Section 2-02.3(3) of the <br /> Standard Specifications, these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans.
