Saw cuts shall leave <br /> 38 straight edges and vertical faces. No diagonal cuts in sidewalk will be allowed <br /> 39 unless otherwise indicated on the drawings or directed by the Engineer. <br /> 40 <br /> I41 A concrete walk that is to remain in place will be protected from equipment <br /> 42 damage. <br /> 43 <br /> I <br /> 44 Where sidewalk adjacent to a sidewalk opening is in poor condition, removal <br /> 45 shall be extended to the nearest through joint or scribe mark as may be <br /> 46 directed by the Engineer. <br /> I 47 <br /> 48 Pavement breakers shall be approved by the Engineer before use. <br /> 49 <br /> ISO <br /> 51 Temporary asphalt concrete sidewalk shall be included in the bid item, <br /> "Removing Sidewalk". <br /> 52 <br /> I53 <br /> HOT MIX ASPHALT OVERLAY-2018 PAGE 35 OF 57 March 6,2018 <br /> I WORK ORDER#3667 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />
