It is <br /> estimated they will require approximately 5,000 square feet of tenant space and 30 parking stalls. The <br /> Facilities Department has worked with Burton Construction to develop a scope of work and cost for the <br /> tenant space repairs and alterations. The Facilities Department is also in the process to develop a preliminary <br /> design and construction cost estimate for the parking lot. <br /> The proposed Ordinance funds the construction costs for the tenant space and the preliminary design of the <br /> parking lot. The proposed Ordinance is anticipated to be replaced with a new Ordinance to provide funding <br /> for final design of the parking lot. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled"South Precinct- 911 Expansion <br /> Project"Fund 342, Program 026 to accumulate the design and construction costs for the improvement <br /> project. <br /> 9 <br />
