We will be paying The School District over $6,000 for use of Everett Memorial Stadium. <br /> b.) Maximum Occupancy will be 10,000 for the run and concert. Of these we estimate that <br /> at least 1,500 will need accommodations. Of these 1,500 believe at least 1,000 will need <br /> paid accommodations. The We are Everett 5K Run and Concert will generate a potential <br /> 1,050 room nights over two nights and a estimated $697,075 in direct spending. We <br /> anticipate 1,500 people traveling more than 50 miles away and staying in hotels for one <br /> night or two nights. We anticipate 8,500 people will be traveling less than 50 miles and <br /> spending the day in the City of Everett. (We worked with the Snohomish County Sports <br /> Commission, sports division of the Snohomish County Toursim Bureau with the <br /> calculation of the economic impact and the overnight stays generated.) <br /> c.) We will verify these numbers via a survey when they are registering for the event and <br /> purchasing tickets. <br /> d.) We believe a vast number of people from out of town will register for the event because <br /> they will be mandated to pick up their packets on the Thursday and Friday prior to the <br /> event. We also believe many will not want to deal with the parking and shuttle aspects <br /> of the event and will stay at a hotel and use Uber and Lyft to get to and from the event. <br /> 6 <br />
