(MTC) has completed a limited-scope geotechnical <br /> investigation and geologic hazard assessment of existing site conditions. This report presents our findings <br /> and recommendations of our critical area study in support of the construction of a single family wood- <br /> framed residence. This study has included visual reconnaissance, limited subsurface testing, review of <br /> available geologic literature, and general slope assessment per Snohomish County Critical Area Code. <br /> The project site is located at 4702 W Glenhaven Dr, in Everett, Washington just off of W Mukilteo Blvd. <br /> Services were provided in accordance with our proposal dated December 23, 2015. It is our <br /> understanding that this study was conducted in suppc�rt of general site improvements and construction <br /> near steep slopes on the north side of the property. <br /> MTC understands a site investigation is needed to meet the county critical area requirements for <br /> geohazard assessment. The following report presents the findings and conclusions of our literature review <br /> and site investigation, addresses inherent concerns and feasibility of proposed site development. This <br /> report is intended to reduce the inherent risks associated with site development within a geologically <br /> hazardous area. <br /> Site Investigation MethodoloQv: <br /> On April 14, 2016, an MTC Staff Geologist visited the site to perform visual reconnaissance of the <br /> surface and topographic features of the subject property and its proximal slope. During this visit, MTC <br /> conducted subsurface exploration as needed for a geologic hazard assessment and site characterization. <br /> Site dimensions and general slope topography were estimated and mapped at representative intervals <br /> using hand survey equipment as access allowed.
