PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Fully describe the project. If you are requesting funds for a specific portion of a larger project,please so state but focus your response on the element <br /> for which you are requesting funding assistance. This section requires that you to establish,in a clear and quantifiable way,that <br /> your project will sustain or enhance one or more aspects.(to be identified by you)of tourism in the City of Everett Proposals from <br /> projects that can prove they willgenerate overnight stays are preferred. Please coordinate your project's milestones with the time <br /> line on page 7 of this package.Please also show any other funding received or requested for your project. <br /> This event was created to generate business revenue for downtown merchants, <br /> increase hotel stays and promote downtown Everett. This event has generated <br /> $150,000.00 in donations to Everett based charities. This event is produced and <br /> managed by 80+volunteers. <br /> This year's event is being expanded to a 3-day schedule: <br /> • Saturday: Kick Off Event with a nationally recognized band at a local <br /> Restaurant/Bar <br /> • Sunday: Controlled Cruise in downtown Everett, Sound Competition, <br /> Engine Performance Measurement(Dyno Testing) and Sock Hop Dance. <br /> All locations in downtown Everett <br /> • Monday: Show and Shine. 700+ Cars, 60 Vendors, Live Entertainment. <br /> 10,000+spectators <br /> • This is this single largest spectator event that is produced in <br /> Everett "feet on the streets and heads in beds"! <br /> 4 <br />
