May 9, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., May 9, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Roberts presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, McNeal, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Mayor <br /> Franklin was excused. <br /> Council Member McNeal led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 2, 2018, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Members Roberts and Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> President Roberts asked Police Chief Templeman to address reports of <br /> policy changes relating to towing of vehicles. President Roberts stated that <br /> there is no proposal to change the current policy. <br /> Chief Templeman stated the Police Department and Administration <br /> understand the impact some vehicles have on neighborhoods and <br /> businesses. He provided a review of the towing procedures and outreach <br /> model that are currently in use by the Police Department. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Riverside <br /> Neighborhood meeting last night. He also provided a liaison report on his <br /> attendance at the Snohomish Health District Board meeting. <br /> Council Member McNeal provided a liaison report on her attendance at <br /> the Riverside Neighborhood meeting. Council Member McNeal also <br /> reported on her attendance at a breakfast meeting hosted by Providence <br /> Regional Medical Center partners to address human trafficking. <br /> 147 <br />
