<br /> In 2018, Olympic Ballet Theatre will present the following productions in the city of
<br /> Everett, at the Everett Performing Arts Center, and requests funding to help
<br /> advertise the performances:
<br /> Coppelia is a comedic ballet, last performed by Olympic Ballet Theatre in 2014, to
<br /> warm audience reception. It is a fun, light-hearted ballet that appeals to audiences
<br /> of all ages.
<br /> Our Everett performance will be on April 7th at 2pm.
<br /> The Nutcracker is widely anticipated by our patrons each year; Olympic Ballet
<br /> Theatre has performed this beloved ballet annually for over 30 years. In 2017,
<br /> Olympic Ballet Theatre premiered new sets to update the production, with plans
<br /> for more new sets pieces and costumes to be unveiled for this year's
<br /> performances.
<br /> In 2018 our Everett Nutcracker performances will be on December 22nd (2pm &
<br /> 7pm) and December 23 (1 pm & 5pm).
<br /> Each year Olympic Ballet Theatre advertises with a wide variety of print and online
<br /> media with the aim of growing audience base and becoming a more widely
<br /> recognized arts organization. Promotional funding will be used to reach not only
<br /> Snohomish County, but also King, Kitsap, Skagit, and Island Counties.
<br /> In 2018, our aim is to utilize more videography to entice more patrons to attend our
<br /> performances.
<br /> Planned promotional efforts include:
<br /> Print:
<br /> • A season brochure distributed to approximately 10,000 patrons living
<br /> throughout the Puget Sound area. The season brochure will include photos
<br /> and descriptions of the 2018-19 performance season.
<br /> • Mail promotional postcards for each production
<br /> • Place approximately 40 advertisements in regional news publications
<br /> including, but not limited to, The Seattle Times, The Herald, The Edmonds
<br /> Beacon, and targeted local area publications.
<br /> • Advertise in local arts-targeted publications such as City Arts and Encore
<br /> • Produce and distribute approximately 800 posters in locations throughout
<br /> the previously mentioned counties.
<br /> • Send targeted press releases to local and regional news representatives.
