No, as this is a voluntary program and people will come of their own free will. <br /> The treatment staff will be specifically trained in approaches to help motivate <br /> the person to fully participate in treatment as well as de-escalation <br /> techniques if individuals become agitated. <br /> Q. 23.Has the project been approved yet and what government officials are a part <br /> of the approval processes? <br /> A. City, county and state officials have indicated support for this project. After <br /> conversations With the city, the county is now completing the zoning <br /> application. The city will schedule a land use hearing after receiving the <br /> zoning application. <br /> Q. 24.What level of support and opposition is seen from local business and <br /> residents? <br /> A. A meeting was held on February 5th with community partners including <br /> Everett Community College, Everett Public Schools, City of Everett, <br /> Providence Hospital, WSU Everett, Council of Neighborhoods and <br /> Northwest Neighborhood Association. There were many good questions and <br /> expressed support of the program. <br /> Q. 25.When will construction begin and planned for completion? <br /> A. The architectural firm will complete the design work in 2018, construction <br /> and renovation will occur in 2019 and the program is anticipated to open <br /> during the first quarter of 2020. <br /> Q.26.What type of "treatments will the clients receive, detox, medications, <br /> counseling, etc.? <br /> A. This program will provide chemical dependency inpatient treatment. Patients <br /> will have completed a detox program prior to arriving at the inpatient <br /> treatment program. Patients will participate in both group and individual <br /> counseling with licensed counselors. <br /> Q. 27.Average length of stay? <br /> A. The length of stay is determined by an individual's treatment plan but the - <br /> typical length of stay for inpatient treatment is 21 to 30 days. <br />
