ROOF AREA:Buildings L&M <br /> 2. ROOF WORK SUMMARY:Comp Shingles 30 Yr,details according to SGA drawings dated 12/5/16;Sheets A 4.3 and A4.6. <br /> [B]QUALITY ASSURANCE:As a certified manufacturer warranted installer,ROOFCORP is dedicated to maintaining high quality <br /> standards of workmanship and professionalism,including the following: <br /> 1. WARRANTY MANUFACTURER:30 Year material,per the manufacturer's written warranty. <br /> 2. WARRANTY ROOFCORP:7 year labor according to the attached warranty sample. <br /> 3. ANNUAL INSPECTION: Each year for the first(2)years ROOFCORP will perform annual roof inspection to ensure roof is <br /> performing as intended and in compliance with warranty maintenance requirements. <br /> 4. PERFORMANCE BOND:An independent surety bonding company has pre-approved ROOFCORP for a performance bond on <br /> this project.Upon request,a performance will be provided at additional cost. <br /> 5. INSURANCE:All work to be covered by Workmen's Compensation and$6,000,000 of Auto,Public Liability, Property Damage, <br /> Products Liability and Completed Operations Insurance.Customer may be named as a certificate holder upon request,subject to <br /> additional charges and availability of coverage. <br /> 6. SAFETY: In commitment to safety ROOFCORP shall be responsible to comply with all applicable local,state and federal <br /> requirements that are safety related. <br /> [C]SCOPE OF WORK: Provide labor,materials and supervision per the following specifications: <br /> 1, TEAR OFF:Tear off 1 existing roof system and haul away.All removed materials shall be directed to truck or dumpster via tear <br /> off chute or hoist with container.This will protect the structure,property;walls and general work area from damage while at the <br /> same time enhance job site safety. <br /> 2. STARTER METAL: Install new 26-gauge galvanized perimeter starter metal. <br /> 3. DRIP EDGE METAL: Install new 26-gauge galvanized perimeter edge metal. <br /> 4. CRICKETS: Install new 24-gauge metal crickets behind all chimeny stacks. <br /> 5. FELT: Nail over the entire roof area, 1-layer of synthetic felt The felt is to be installed starting at the lower edge of the roof and <br /> overlapping each other 2"on the upper edge and 6"on the ends. <br /> 6. STARTER:Install new starter and bleeder strips as per manufacturers specifications. <br /> 7. ROOF SYSTEM:Install 30 year architectual composition shingles according to manufacturer's specifications.Choice of color <br /> from standard color chart. <br /> 8. LEAD FLASHINGS: Install new lead penetration flashings at plumbing vents. <br /> 9. BATHROOM VENTS:Install new 4"PBK metal vents at all existing baths=: ,ucting. <br /> / 3 <br />
