5. Corrective Action, Deadline <br /> If the Respondent complete the following corrective action by the date listed below, <br /> and is not a repeat violator, the respondent may enter into an agreed order as <br /> described in Section 7 below. <br /> 1. Contact the Everett Building and Planning Department at 3200 Cedar Street, <br /> Second Floor and obtain permits and approvals for the work that is needed to <br /> bring the stairway structures and landings on the property into compliance <br /> with building code standards. A plan check submittal package including <br /> appropriate plans and details must be received in the building department <br /> within 30 days or by July 6, 2015. All necessary permits and approvals <br /> must be obtained, all necessary work must be completed and final inspection <br /> approval obtained from the City of Everett Building Division staff within 180 <br /> days from date of the hearing or by January 19, 201.6. <br /> 2. Compliance actions must be completed as noted above. <br /> 6. Agreed Order <br /> If the respondent is not a Repeat Violator (see Paragraph 1) and has completed the <br /> minimum corrective action described in this citation, he/she is eligible to enter into <br /> an agreed order with the city. The agreed order means that the city agrees that it <br /> will not take further action against the respondent regarding the violations described <br /> in this citation as long as there are no further nuisance-related EMC violations for <br /> the two-year period following the date of the order. <br /> If the Respondents are eligible to enter into an agreed order with the city, and sign <br /> the agreed order, the Respondents are no longer required to appear at the hearing <br /> set forth in Paragraph 6. <br /> NOTHING HEREIN RELIEVES RESPONDENTS FROM THEIR OBLIGATION TO <br /> COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES. <br /> 8.
