May 30, 2018 <br /> Mr. Kaftanski announced the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Everett <br /> Family YMCA on Saturday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. He added that President <br /> Roberts would attend as the City's representative. <br /> Mr. Kaftanski spoke about the work that is currently underway with Matrix <br /> Consulting, the contractor hired to conduct an operational and <br /> organizational assessment of the Public Works Department. He also <br /> provided an update on the available options and timeline to move public <br /> works staff into a safe building and working environment. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding options and timelines for current and future <br /> work. President Roberts stated the presumption is the city will move forward <br /> with Option 5, as described in the handout that was distributed. He <br /> encouraged council members to bring concerns forward prior to action <br /> tentatively planned for September. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session, anticipated to last no <br /> longer than 15 minutes, concerning two legal matters pursuant to RCW <br /> 42.30.110(1)(i)(c) with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> No citizens wished to speak. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Intergovernmental Agreement for <br /> Snohomish County Diversion Center participation. <br /> Presented by Everett Police Chief Dan Templeman; <br /> Snohomish County Sheriff Ty Trenary; and <br /> Cammy Hart-Anderson, Snohomish County Human <br /> Services <br /> 170 <br />
