May 30, 2018 <br /> Mr. Kaftanski announced the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Everett <br /> Family YMCA on Saturday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. He added that President <br /> Roberts would attend as the City's representative. <br /> Mr. Kaftanski spoke about the work that is currently underway with Matrix <br /> Consulting, the contractor hired to conduct an operational and <br /> organizational assessment of the Public Works Department. He also <br /> provided an update on the available options and timeline to move public <br /> works staff into a safe building and working environment. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding options and timelines for current and future <br /> work. President Roberts stated the presumption is the city will move forward <br /> with Option 5, as described in the handout that was distributed.
