May 30, 2018 <br /> Orientation Conference (JCOC) hosted by the Secretary of Defense on <br /> June 13. <br /> Mayor Franklin introduced newly appointed Fire Chief David DeMarco. She <br /> stated she looks forward to working with Chief DeMarco and is excited <br /> about the future of the department under his leadership. <br /> The City Clerk administered the oath of office to Fire Chief DeMarco. <br /> Mayor Franklin invited Connor DeMarco to come forward and present <br /> Chief DeMarco with his badge. <br /> On behalf of the Fire Department, Battalion Chief Matt Keller provided <br /> remarks acknowledging the support of Chief DeMarco's family. <br /> Chief Demarco expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and honor to <br /> serve as Everett's Fire Chief. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the quarterly Alliance <br /> for Housing Affordability meeting held last week. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a liaison report on his attendance at last <br /> week's Public Facilities District Board meeting.
