.) 1 2- <br /> r <br /> • <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ?2 y-F.,1- <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property <br /> to the City of Everett. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to the <br /> City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130 was <br /> signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to the <br /> assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation did fix the <br /> 2nd day of June, 1982, for hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to <br /> be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places <br /> within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as <br /> posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to <br /> appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in <br /> the petition as hereinafter set forth; <br /> WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their <br /> August 4, 1982, regular meeting, decline to involve jurisdiction in this matter; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is <br /> hereby annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> A portion of the West half of Section 19, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, <br /> W.M., and East half of Section 24, Township 28 North, Range 4 East W.M. <br /> situated in Snohomish County, State of Washington, described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly right-of-way of 3rd Ave SE and <br /> the North line of the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest <br /> Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 19; thence Easterly along <br /> the above mentioned South Half to the West boundary of the Plat of <br /> Broadway Farms No. 2, filed in Volume 13 of Plats at page 93, Records of <br /> said county; thence Northerly along the West boundary of said Plat of <br /> Broadway Farms No. 2 to the North line of Lot 8 of said Plat of Broadway <br /> Farms No. 2; thence Easterly along the North line of said Lot 8 to the <br /> Northwest corner of Lot 43 of the said Plat of Broadway Farms No. 2; thence <br /> Easterly along the North line of said Lot 43 to the East boundary of the said <br /> Plat of Broadway Farms No. 2; thence Southerly along the East boundary of <br /> said Plat of Broadway Farms No. 2 to the North line of the Plat of Hemlock <br /> Acres No. 14; thence Westerly along the North line of said Plat of Hemlock <br /> Acres No. 14 to the East line of Lot 6 of said Plat of Hemlock Acres No. 14; <br /> thence Southerly along the East line of said Lot 6 to the Southerly right-of- <br /> way of 109th St. SE (Larsen Rd); thence Westerly along the Southerly right- <br /> of-way of said 109th St. SE to the Easterly right-of-way of 7th Ave SE <br /> (Farmers Rd); thence Southerly along the Easterly right-of-way of said 7th <br />
