• <br /> 1 necessary, standards, regulations and procedures relating to emergency medical <br /> 2 services including paramedic services for their adoption by the City of Everett and shall <br /> 3 review these standards, regulations and procedures at least annually to keep them up to <br /> 4 date. <br /> 5 Section 3: The Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board shall elect a <br /> 6 Chairman from amongst its members to establish procedural rules and regulations for <br /> 7 conduct of its business and shall meet at least quarterly, or more as necessary, and shall <br /> 8 take permanent minutes of all meetings to record actions taken. <br /> 9 Section 4: The purposes and objectives of the Emergency Medical Services <br /> 10 Advisory Board shall be to prepare and recommend to the Mayor and Everett City <br /> 11 Council detailed proposals as necessary for the training of paramedics and the <br /> 12 incorporation of paramedic services into the emergency medical services program <br /> 13 available to the citizens of the City of Everett and may advise on and/or review the <br /> 14 budget for Emergency Medical Services, including paramedic services. In the event of <br /> 15 disputes concerning provision of emergency medical services or paramedic services in <br /> 16 the City of Everett, the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board shall be <br /> 17 empowered to investigate matters and/or disputes involving emergency medical <br /> 18 services including paramedic services and recommend to the Mayor and City Council <br /> 19 and/or to the medical community at large, including the doctors and the hospitals, <br /> 20 possible solutions to problems encountered in the provision of emergency medical <br /> 21 services including paramedic services within the City or the reasonable service area of <br /> 22 the City. <br /> 23 Section 5: Section 7 of Ordinance No. 282-74 is hereby repealed. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 MAYOR - P`eo-7�in <br /> 27 ATTEST: <br /> 411) <br /> 28 im Jo. <br /> /40311/4 <br /> 29 CITY CLERK <br /> 30 <br /> Passed: ‘- <F. <br /> 31 <br /> Valid: 6 - '�- f..2, <br /> 32 <br /> Published: '- 7- 1.2. <br />
