Minor Department Heads: <br /> 7 Assistant Public Works Director <br /> Building Director <br /> 8 Vehicle Maintenance Director <br /> Parks and Recreation Director (Council/confirmation) <br /> 9 Personnel Director <br /> Planning Director <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Section 4: SUPERINTENDENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. The <br /> 12 Superintendent of Parks and Recreation shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to <br /> 13 confirmation by a majority of the City Council for the term of four (4) years and he <br /> 14 may be removed by the Mayor subject to Council confirmation. <br /> 15 Section 5: CITY ATTORNEY. The Mayor shall appoint and may remove, <br /> 16 with the approval of the City Council, a City Attorney. He shall be the Chief Legal <br /> 17 Officer of the City and he shall serve on a full-time basis with his office in the City <br /> 18 Hall. The City Attorney may appoint and remove full-time and part-time professional <br /> 19 staff. <br /> 20 Section 6: LIBRARY DIRECTOR. The Library Board will appoint and <br /> 21 remove the Library Director. He shall be the Chief Administrative Officer for the <br /> 22 Board and act in their behalf. All professional and support staff of the Library will <br /> 23 serve at the will of the Library Director and the Library Board. <br /> 24 Section 7: Other appointive officers of the City of Everett shall be as follows: <br /> 25 <br /> A. Confidential Secretary/Personal Administrative Assistant: <br /> 26 <br /> Administrative Secretary <br /> 27 Executive Secretary <br /> Administrative Assistant I, II, III (where indicated - Personnel, Public Works) <br /> 28 Executive Assistant (Mayor) <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> 29 Legislative Assistant (Council) <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -2- <br />
