• • ' • Tasks required to accomplish the above are generally as follows: . A. Design of fire station and site improvements. B. Right-of-way improvements. C. On site improvements. D. Construction of fire station/police report station. E. Purchase and install support equipment. F. Arranging and paying for costs of financing the project. Section 3: The total estimated costs of the improvements herein authorized is $894,000, which includes all costs related to design, construction, equipment, financing, contract administration and associated costs. Section 4: The Director of City Services under administration of the Mayor is hereby given responsibility of conducting all tasks outlined in Section 2 above. Section 5: A. The sum of $894,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund No. 352 "Design and Construction of Fire Station #6". B. Source of Funds: General Fund $640,020 Evergreen Way Fund $253,980 Total Funds $894,000 Section 6: The proceeds from the sale of councilmatic bonds shall be invested until needed for construction. The interest earned shall be deposited in this fund and expended for this project. Section 7: The City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby authorized to negotiate a reasonable rate of interest and issue interest bearing Revenue Warrants to satisfy interim construction costs not to exceed $465,000. These interest bearing warrants shall be redeemed by the Treasurer as soon as reimbursement or long term bond financing monies, as described elsewhere in this Ordinance, are received. Section 8: This appropriation shall not lapse but shall be carried forward from year-to-year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of reappropriation as per R.C.W. 35.33.151.
