Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". <br /> 1. Dwelling units in two-family dwellings shall be separated from each other by wall and/or <br /> floor assemblies having not less than a 1-hour fire-resistance rating when tested in <br /> accordance with ASTM E 119 or UL 263. Fire-resistance-rated floor/ceiling and wall <br /> assemblies shall extend to and be tight against the exterior wall, and wall assemblies <br /> shall extend from the foundation to the underside of the roof sheathing. Per R302.3 <br /> International Residential Code (IRC). The drawings reference and assembly (table <br /> 721.1 (3) item #13-1.4) from the 1997 uniform building code. <br /> 2. When floor assemblies are required to be fire-resistance rated by section R302.3, the <br /> supporting construction of such assemblies shall have an equal or greater fire-resistance <br /> rating. Provide details for different assemblies. <br /> 3. The site plan does not match the construction drawings. Revise site plan to be <br /> consistent with the plans. <br /> 4. The area of the addition does not match the new dimensions.
