Existing Other Iurfaces (pavement, gravel, etc.): 45,24mil
3. Which direction does the site currently slope? (Towards a street, towards an alley,
towards a neighboring property, etc.) The developed site has been graded flat (slopes 0-
5%) to provide a commercial boat manufacturing and storage facility. The current pad was
leveled from an existing moderate slope, west to east at apprximatley 8-10%. The result of
the pad is a cut slop flanking the west side of the site and a fill slope on the east side of the
site. No significant quantities of cutting or filling are planned for this project. The current
site topography will be preserved for the final condition.
4. What currently happens to rainwater that falls on the site? Runoff from the site is collected
in an existing storm drainage system consisting of catch basins and 6" to 8" diameter storm
pipes. The existing storm drainage system discharges offsite to the public storm drainage
system in Hardeson Rd. via 8" diameter PVC pipe. The project will create new roof area that
will be collected via 6" PVC roof leader to downspout connections. The new roof area will
discharge to the existing storm drainage system; ultimately, discharging from the existing 8"
PVC pipe to the Hardeson Rd. driange system.
5. Please describe any critical areas on the site (wetlands, buffers, steep slopes, etc.) This
information can be obtained from the City's GIS data, and is available at the permit
counter. The slopes on the site were created from past site improvements presumed to be
permitted legally and do not constitute steep slopes. No other critical areas are documented
on or near the site in available public records.
6. What types of soils are found on the site?
"Note: to determine the type of soils on the site, please visit the Natural Resources
Conservation Service's Web Soil Survey at http://websoilsurvev.nres.usda.pov/app/, click the
green button that says Start WSS, then type in your address under Quick Navigation, create
an Area of Interest (AOI) and click the second tab (Soil Map). The soil types will pop up with a
hyperlink and the properties of each will be available when you click the hyperlink.
Dense glacially compressed gravelly silty sand. Hydrologic Soil Group C. The USDA soil maps
indicate the site has Alderwood soils. The geotech report, provided by Geotech Consultants,
Inc., dated September 15, 2016, confirms consolidated till soils with the presence of fill to
varying depths across the site.
i.. ;.,,='P— EVER t.i1 C, i 1 ,.. ....
