• <br /> 1 to a monthly consumption of two hundred twenty thousand cubic feet. All <br /> water used monthly in excess of two hundred twenty thousand cubic feet <br /> 2 shall be paid for at the rate of nineteen cents per one hundred cubic feet. <br /> 3 5. Service Connection Charges. Service connection installations outside the <br /> City limits of all sizes shall be charged at the actual cost of the complete <br /> 4 installation but in no event shall the charge for a three-quarter inch, a <br /> one-inch or a two-inch service be less than the amounts set forth in <br /> 5 Paragraph A 4b of this section. <br /> 6 6. Delinquent Penalty and Special Charges. The delinquent penalty charge as <br /> set forth in Paragraph A 5 of this section and the special charges as set <br /> 7 forth in Paragraph A 6 of this section, shall apply to customers outside the <br /> City limits also except that a twenty-five percent surcharge shall be added <br /> 8 thereto. <br /> 9 <br /> Section 3: Person(s) of the age of 61 years or older shall be eligible to pay a <br /> 10 <br /> reduced rate for single family residence service as follows: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 $7.65 per month, August 1, 1981, to December 31, 1981 <br /> 13 $7.65 water charge <br /> $1.92 filtration charge <br /> 14 $9.57 January 1, 1982, and thereafter <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Qualifications for said reduced rate shall be: <br /> 1. The property to which the utility service is extended shall have a valid <br /> 17 <br /> property tax exemption, pursuant to RCW 84.36.381 through RCW 84.36.385. <br /> 18 <br /> 2. Claimants for said reduction shall live within the corporate limits of the <br /> 19 <br /> City of Everett and have a household income level no greater than $7,000 per year; <br /> 20 <br /> "income" as used herein shall be computed in the same manner as in RCW 84.36.381. <br /> 21 <br /> 3. No persons receiving income other than the claimant or the claimant and <br /> 22 <br /> spouse shall occupy the property to which utility service is extended. <br /> 23 <br /> PROVIDED, however, persons of the age of 61 years or older and meeting the <br /> 24 <br /> qualifications hereinafter specified but whose household income, calculated in the same <br /> 25 <br /> manner as income is calculated for purposes of RCW 84.36.381, is $4,000 or less shall be <br /> 26 <br /> exempt from any water rate increase provided for herein this ordinance and shall be <br /> 27 <br /> charged at the existing water rate: <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Single family residence fixed rate: <br /> 30 $5.50 per unit, August 1, 1981, to December 31, 1981 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -11- <br />
