Replace sidewalk segment in front of 2524 Maple (esti- mated project cost: $900) . D. Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements 1. $1, 000 to Council for Greater Everett for neighborhood fair share assistance for support services to Port Gardner neighborhood. 2 . Terrace Drive (43rd Street to 44th Street) , concrete curb and gutter on both sides , install storm drainage system, landscaping behind curb, asphalt resurfacing (estimated project cost: $42 ,500) . 3. 43rd Street (alley west of Rucker Avenue to Grant Avenue) construct concrete curb and gutter on north side of 43rd, install storm drainage system (estimated project cost: $14 ,160) . 4 . $500 to Jackson Elementary School PTA towards estimated $2 , 400 playground equipment to be purchased by PTA. 5. Terrace Drive (42nd Street to 41st Street) , concrete curb and gutter on west side, install storm drainage system, asphalt resurfacing (estimated project cost : $34 , 150) . 6 . 35th Street at Hoyt intersection, install flashing sig- nal light for traffic control and pedestrian safety (estimated project cost: $8 , 140) . Section 3 : Should costs be less for the above projects than origin- ally estimated, projects receiving the next highest neighborhood priority shall be included for funding. If project costs exceed the estimates given, the lowest priority project or projects will be dropped for funding. Section 4 : If any of the above projects is started but not com- pleted, completion of the project (s) will be automatically funded with any 1982 Block Grant funds received by the neighborhood where an uncompleted project is located. Section 5 : All of the above projects shall conform to the require- ments of the City Ordinance 555-78 , as amended by City Ordinance 655-80. Determination of the appropriate standards to impose shall be made by the City Engineer. Section 6 : The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized is $337 , 700 which will include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan development and associated costs. Section 7 : The City Engineer of the City of Everett under the administration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providing for the improvements as defined herein. (3)
