• <br /> 1 For each and every of the following type shows or exhibitions within the <br /> city and for each and every person or corporation operating amusement <br /> 2 devices within the city, there shall be paid a license fee as follows: <br /> 3 A. Supermarket Show. A "supermarket show" shall be defined to be <br /> that type of show, which is given solely for the purpose of <br /> 4 advertising or a trade stimulus or promotion and includes an animal <br /> act and rides, the admission to which show is free, but rates may <br /> 5 be charged for rides; for such described show, there shall be a fee <br /> of fifteen dollars per calendar week or fraction thereof. <br /> 6 <br /> B. Ballpark and Auditorium Show. A "ballpark and auditorium show" <br /> 7 shall be defined generally as that type of circus-type exhibition <br /> which does not have a large circus tent, and which is transported <br /> 8 by not more than five motor trucks. Such a "ballpark and <br /> auditorium show" shall pay a license fee of thirty-five dollars for a <br /> 9 series of performances not to exceed over two days. <br /> 10 C. Small Family Circus. A "small family circus" shall be defined to <br /> be generally that type of circus exhibition which has a main tent <br /> 11 which is erected out of doors together with side shows and is <br /> transported by not more than twelve motor trucks. A "small <br /> 12 family circus" shall pay a license fee of fifty dollars which <br /> performances and exhibitions to the public by such type show shall <br /> 13 not exceed over two days. <br /> 14 D. Big Circus Show. A "big circus show" shall be defined to be that <br /> type of circus show that is presented out of doors with a main <br /> 15 circus tent and with side shows and which is transported with more <br /> than twelve motor trucks. Such a type show shall pay a license fee <br /> 16 of one hundred fifty dollars for two days. <br /> 17 E. Carnivals. A "carnival" or "carnival type show" shall be defined to <br /> be that type of exhibition or entertainment out of doors which <br /> 18 provides games, rides, concessions and side shows, but has no main <br /> tent for display of circus acts. For such type shows, there shall be <br /> 19 paid a fee of seventy-five dollars for a series of performances not <br /> to exceed eight consecutive days. <br /> 20 <br /> F. Motor Truck Defined. For purposes of this chapter and the <br /> 21 subsections above set forth, a "motor truck" shall be defined to be <br /> a motor vehicle weighing one and one-half tons or more, unloaded. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br /> 24 Section 3: That a new section be added to Ordinance No. 518-78 which reads <br /> 25 as follows: <br /> 26 <br /> DEFINITIONS: For purposes of this chapter, words and phrases used <br /> 27 herein shall have the following meanings: <br /> 28 A.
