• <br /> • <br /> 1 B. Ballpark and Auditorium Show. A "ballpark and auditorium show" <br /> 2 shall be defined generally as that type of circus-type exhibition <br /> which does not have a large circus tent, and which is transported <br /> 3 by not more than five motor trucks. <br /> 4 C. Small Family Circus. A "small family circus" shall be defined to <br /> be generally that type of circus exhibition which has a main tent <br /> 5 which is erected out of doors together with side shows and is <br /> transported by not more than twelve motor trucks. <br /> 6 D. Big Circus Show. A "big circus show" shall be defined to be that <br /> type of circus show that is presented out of doors with a main <br /> 7 circus tent and with side shows and which is transported with more <br /> than twelve motor trucks. <br /> 8 <br /> E. Carnivals. A "carnival" or "carnival type show" shall be defined to <br /> 9 be that type of exhibition or entertainment out of doors which <br /> provides games, rides, concessions and side shows, but has no main <br /> 10 tent for display of circus acts. <br /> 11 F. Motor Truck Defined. For purposes of this chapter and the <br /> subsections above set forth, a "motor truck" shall be defined to be <br /> 12 a motor vehicle weighing one and one-half tons or more, unloaded. <br /> 13 <br /> Section 4: That Ordinance No. 518-78, Section 4 which reads as follows: <br /> 14 <br /> 15 A fee of two hundred dollars shall be paid to the city upon filing of each <br /> application for a permit to operate a circus, carnival, amusement center <br /> 16 or go-kart center for a period in excess of five days. A fee of forty <br /> dollars per day shall be paid to the city through the city clerk's office <br /> 17 upon the filing of each application for a permit to operate a circus, <br /> carnival, amusement center or go-kart center for a period of not <br /> 18 exceeding five days. <br /> 19 <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Permit Fees. The following schedule of fees shall be due and payable <br /> upon the filing of each application for a permit to conduct the operation <br /> 22 of the following activities: <br /> 23 Carnivals, Amusement Centers <br /> and Go-Kart Centers: <br /> 24 for a period in excess of five days, <br /> 25 but less than 30 days $200.00 <br /> for each day not exceeding five days 40.00 <br /> 26 Supermarket Show 50.00 <br /> 27 Ballpark and Auditorium Show 100.00 <br /> 28 Small Family Circus 100.00 <br /> 29 Big Circus Show 200.00 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -3- <br />
