Added Bid Item New Item # 101 —Additional Materials Costs. Add new item# 101 entitled, "Additional Materials Costs" at the agreed to lump sum price of$11,180.40, by adding One (1) lump sum Additional Materials Costs, resulting in an$11,180.40 increase to the Contract price. New Item # 102—Additional Restrained Welds. Add new item# 102 entitled, "Additional Restrained Welds" at the agreed to lump sum price of$9,128.00, by adding One (1) lump sum Additional Restrained Welds, resulting in a$9,128.00 increase to the Contract price. New Item# 103—Additional Labor and Equipment Costs. Add new item# 103 entitled, "Additional Labor and Equipment Costs" at the agreed to lump sum price of$12,547.69, by adding One (1) lump sum Additional Labor and Equipment Costs, resulting in a$12,547.69 increase to the Contract price. New Item # 104—Early Incentive Bonus. JUSTIFICATION New Item # 101 —Additional Materials Costs-Incurred costs in the following five areas. 1. 24-Inch Access Manway: This new item is being added at the west end of the 36-inch bypass pipe to provide a safer access for welders to weld inside pipe joints and greater flexibility for future maintenance access, and to account for costs to construct the manway. 2. Reinforced Concrete Vault Slab Lid: This new item is being added to replace the planned sheet metal cover for the Pressure Sustaining Valve access opening into the concrete valve Page 3 of 4
