July 11, 2018 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br /> Puget Sound Regional Council Growth Management Policy Board meeting <br /> last week. He also thanked everyone who organized the 4th of July <br /> celebration. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher congratulated Council Member Tuohy on her <br /> recent appointment to the new Washington Tourism Marketing Authority <br /> Board by Governor Jay Inslee. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided an update on the Budget Subcommittee <br /> meeting that occurred earlier today. <br /> President Roberts thanked Pipa Escalante and the Communications & <br /> Marketing staff for their work on the current technical system upgrade in <br /> the council chambers. He also noted there was limited camera capacity for <br /> tonight's meeting. President Roberts stated an email was provided today <br /> to council members regarding the Everett Metro Plan, which will be <br /> presented to Council for briefing on July 18. He encouraged council <br /> members to raise questions early in the process. President Roberts <br /> reported the Council will be moving away from pre-packaged bottled water <br /> in an effort to reduce the use of plastic, and thanked staff for their work on <br /> July 4 activities. <br /> President Roberts announced that Briefing Item No. 2 was pulled from <br /> today's agenda. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, also commented on the broadcast this evening. <br /> He noted the video will be available for viewing on the City website <br /> tomorrow afternoon, and citizens may call the station manager at <br /> (425) 257-7130 with questions. <br /> S. <br /> 206 <br />
