D[113/3[PI 111 <br /> September 17,2014 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., September 17, 2014, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, Council Member Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was <br /> found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Bader, Stonecipher, and Anderson were present. Council <br /> Member Gipson was excused. <br /> Mayor Stephanson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 10, 2014, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson commented on the William E. Moore dedication, which <br /> was held on Saturday, September 20,2014. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Anderson and Murphy echoed the Mayor's comments <br /> on the renaming of the historic City Hall building in honor of <br /> William E. Moore. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance yesterday at the <br /> Association of Washington Cities legislative update and the impact of the <br /> McCleary court decision. <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br /> Library Board meeting held last evening. <br /> President Moore reported that he attended, with Mayor Stephanson, the <br /> Tutalip Pipeline Joint Board meeting on Monday. He also provided a <br /> liaison report on his attendance at the Police Pension Board this morning. <br /> President Moore provided comments about the renaming ceremony of the <br /> City Hall building in honor of his father Mayor Moore. He thanked <br /> attendees and City staff for their planning efforts. <br />
