This Homeland Security Grant Agreement with Snohomish County provides $7,700 to purchase one 1NMAR 430-SR-14"Inflatable Search&Rescue Boat with SCUBA adapter air fill kit, large transom scuppers, and a Suzuki DF25AS2 outboard motor to support the Region in being better able to effectively complete search and rescue operations. The Amendment to the Agreement provides for an extension in the expiration date to 10/31/2018. There is no change in the contract award amount. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment A to the Homeland Security Grant Agreement(E17-059)with Snohomish County to receive grant funds to purchase Search and Rescue equipment in the amount of$7,700. 27
