p <br /> RESOLUTION No. 6616 <br /> A RESOLUTION Concerning the Appointment of Traci Youmans as <br /> a Special Police Officer with a Limited Commission. <br /> WHEREAS, Pursuant to Chapter 2.48 EMC, the Chief of Police is <br /> authorized to appoint special police officers subject to the approval of the City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, Traci Youmans is employed as a digital imaging analyst for <br /> the City's Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the duties of a digital imaging analyst include assisting <br /> Everett police officers in the investigation of crimes involving digital evidence and <br /> conducting searches of digital evidence pursuant to a warrant; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Chief of Police finds that Traci Youmans is qualified to be <br /> appointed as a special police officer with a limited commission, and her <br /> appointment is necessary and appropriate so that she may carry out her duties <br /> as a digital imaging analyst in accordance with the law; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EVERETT <br /> that the appointment of Traci Youmans as a special police officer with a limited <br /> commission subject to the terms of her appointment by the Chief of Police, which <br /> is attached as Exhibit A to this Resolu ion, is approved. <br /> 47 t//71)21&,, '''''- ''-'- <br /> uncilperson introd !' ng re o ution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 15th DAY OF MaY , 2013 <br /> .ice% <br /> I' ouncil) resident <br />
