State of Washington Department of Ecology Page 7 of 19 <br /> Agreement No: W2RLSWFA-1719-EverPW-00023 <br /> Project Title: 2017-19 LSWFA City of Everett-Public Works IMP <br /> Recipient Name: CITY OF EVERETT-PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> ensure recycling instructions are provided annually,and verify that collected materials are handled properly. <br /> Reimbursement for one staffer will be needed for these activities and is LSWFA-eligible,as are costs of <br /> Task-appropriate training,such as that provided at the WA State Recycling Association conference in Spring,2019. <br /> Membership in the WA State Recycling Association professional organization is also eligible,as no indirect costs will <br /> be charged. Other memberships will need pre-approval by ECOLOGY to be directly billed to this Agreement. <br /> Task Goal Statement: <br /> To increase waste reduction and recycling to benefit the City and the environment within multi-family properties,in <br /> public spaces,and at events for the public. <br /> Task Expected Outcome: <br /> The RECIPIENT will begin spending LSWFA monies in April 2018. Approximately 10 multi-family properties are <br /> expected to have new waste reduction and recycling programs onsite out of an estimated 50 multi-family property <br /> owners contacted,with about 450 residents participating. An estimated 15%expansion of special events and street bin <br /> use will be tracked through container checkouts and increases in volume collected.The RECIPIENT may also use <br /> LSWFA funds to purchase additional containers with ECOLOGY prior written approval,and will supply the <br /> number(s)purchased along with the appropriate invoice(s)if this is done. <br /> These activities are expected to net a total of 100 tons of additional recycled material. <br /> Numbers and types of outreach materials will also be reported when staff time for marketing/outreach/educational <br /> activities are to be paid as part of this Agreement. <br /> Recipient Task Coordinator: Erika Frost <br /> Residential Recycling/Waste Prevention <br /> Deliverables <br /> Number Description Due Date <br /> 1.1 Work as defined in the Scope of Work for this Agreement is 06/30/2019 <br /> implemented. <br /> Version 10/30/2015 <br />
