August 1, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., August 1, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, McNeal, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 25, 2018, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Members Roberts, Moore, and Tuohy abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Everett Transit <br /> presentation regarding the 2019 Proposal for Sustainable Service and <br /> encouraged the public to attend. <br /> Council Member McNeal reported on her attendance at the 26th Annual <br /> Nubian Jam at the Forest Park. <br /> Council Member Murphy updated the Council on the 2018 Benchmarking <br /> Study project. He also provided a recap of the Budget and Finance <br /> Subcommittee meeting held earlier this evening. <br /> President Roberts provided an update on the Climate Action Plan. He also <br /> provided clarification on Action Item 21 regarding two ballot proposals. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, introduced Jean Simpson, Executive Director of <br /> GroWashington. <br /> 233 <br />
