August 1, 2018 <br /> Jean Simpson updated the Council on the work of GroWashington and <br /> introduced the Board of Directors of GroWashington. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session, anticipated to last no <br /> longer than 15 minutes, concerning three legal matters pursuant to RCW <br /> 42.30.110(1)(i)(3) with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Jack O'Donnell, Everett, spoke about the proposed Longfellow School <br /> building demolition by the Everett School District. <br /> Gail Chism, Everett, thanked GroWashington for their work. Ms. Chism also <br /> spoke about The Pine and the Cherry Japanese Americans in Washington <br /> lecture held at the Schack Arts Center. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement between the <br /> City of Everett and the Everett Public Facilities District amending the <br /> Events Center ground lease. <br /> Presented by Susy Haugen, Finance <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Amended and Restated Interlocal <br /> Agreement between the City of Everett and the Everett Public <br /> Facilities District for a contingent loan agreement relating to the <br /> Everett Public Facilities District's 2018 Bond refinance. <br /> Presented by Susy Haugen, Finance <br /> Council Member Murphy asked City Attorney Iles for clarification about his <br /> participation in the discussion and action on this item. <br /> Gail Chism, Everett, spoke in opposition to the proposed contingent loan <br /> agreement. <br /> 234 <br />
