August 1, 2018 <br /> Public Hearing on Historic Overlays and Metro Everett Plan and <br /> Development Regulations. <br /> Presented by Allan Giffen and David Stalheim, <br /> Planning; Nick Harper, Administration <br /> The following individuals expressed concerns regarding the proposed Metro <br /> Everett Plan and development regulations, including: increased traffic, <br /> parking availability, proposed boundary changes, an unlimited density <br /> proposal, increased height standards, decrease of property values, historic <br /> value of neighborhoods, and the impact on commercial properties: <br /> - James Ivory, Everett <br /> - Jack O'Donnel, Everett <br /> - April Cole, Everett <br /> - Timothy Corpus, Everett <br /> - Mary Helen Dean, Everett <br /> - Jim Dean, Everett <br /> - Paula Rhyne, Everett <br /> - Marti Bradley, Everett <br /> - Greg Benson, Everett <br /> - Andrea Tuch, Everett <br /> - Tammy Caldwell, Everett <br /> - Jean Satti-Hewat, Everett <br /> - Ashley Sims, Everett <br /> - Gail Chism, Everett <br /> President Roberts encouraged citizens and council members to submit their <br /> comments and concerns to the Planning Department. <br /> Council members asked the Planning Department to address citizens' <br /> concerns and for options for mitigation. <br /> Allan Giffen, Planning, stated a memo will be provided to the Council. <br /> 235 <br />
