Communicate Contractor activities to Contractor Participants,stakeholders and the greater community <br /> • The Contractor will promote the Small Business Development Center(SBDC),which offers <br /> professional advising and technical assistance in all areas of business. <br /> • Communicate regularly with participants and the wider community through a variety of media <br /> and technology, including e-mail,newsletters,op-eds,private meetings,phone calls, etc. Base <br /> communication tool will be EASC News Brief(weekly email). <br /> • Maintain a state of the art economic development website. Maintain on-line resource tools <br /> including available land and building database,demographic information, industry/employer data <br /> and community information.Update the website with current events,demographics,and other <br /> relevant information monthly. <br /> • Highlight and acknowledge outstanding Snohomish County leaders at the EASC Annual Meeting <br /> and on the website. Update the website with newsworthy stories about local businesses. <br /> • Remain strategically active in regional economic development efforts and trade organizations that <br /> complement the identified business clusters. Membership in three(3)organizations prior to <br /> March 31,2019, attending five(5)events. <br /> • Educate stakeholders about progressive economic development policies consistent with the <br /> identified business clusters. Provide expert testimony in Olympia(as needed). <br /> • Organize regular networking and Signature events to engage investors and facilitate networking; <br /> Key Community Leader Events; Public Affairs Events;Business to Business Networking Events. <br /> Target 2000 attendees countywide for the twelve month period. <br /> A-3 <br />
