Project: Three Lakes Valve Bypass <br /> Change Order No.2 <br /> Change Order Effective Date: July 25, 2018 <br /> 1. Relocated Electrical panels to Structure catwalk, using all Stainless Steel materials. <br /> 2. Install new Stainless Steel junction boxes on side of Telemetry building. <br /> 3. Extended Generator electrical conduits and conductors to new locations. <br /> 4. Added and installed additional new 3R 100 Amp Disconnect and associated wiring at telemetry <br /> building, as well as adding new fuses at service disconnect. This work added to meet Electrical <br /> code compliance. <br /> 5. Replaced pre-existing damaged Panel P1 main electrical breaker, and installed new wiring and <br /> ground bar, and removed main bonding jumper. <br /> 6. Changed 3-Pole circuit breaker to one 2-Pole and one 1-Pole circuit breaker. <br /> 7. Repair electrical conduit that was damaged due to settling ground from heavy rainfall. <br /> Add 53 Calendar Days <br /> 1. Weather Delays <br /> • Excessive rain during the first part of the year that prevented Contractor from working <br /> onsite and caused settlement of electrical conduit-15 days. <br /> • Extreme cold temperatures delayed the piping connection-The City of Everett Utility <br /> Operations Group directed Contractor to wait until temperatures were above freezing to <br /> implement water system shutdown, which delayed project one week-7 days. <br /> • Total weather related delays-22 days. <br /> 2. Added work not part of original scope of work. <br /> • Additional transmission pipe joint welding required by COE-from CO # 1-1 1/2 days. <br /> • Furnish and install additional 72-inch Concrete Access Manway-from CO #1-3 days. <br /> • Spread, grade, and compact City of Everett provided Crushed Surfacing Top Course <br /> (CSTC)-1/2 day. <br /> • Added Reinforced Concrete Vault Slab for new lid-from CO # 1-1 day <br /> • Plumb and install sump pump for insertion meter-1 day. <br /> • Added Reinforced Concrete Generator Pad-1 day. <br /> • Install City of Everett shoring for City of Everett Maintenance crew-1/2 day. <br /> • Added Schedule 80 pipe for Air Vacuum Valve anchored to outside of Vault so vault <br /> can be vented to the outside of vault as required-10 days. <br /> • Installed drainage piping across the Transmission Line Easement-1 day. <br /> • Install drainage piping to existing catch basin-1/2 day. <br /> • Delays waiting for instrumentation panel to be manufactured and installed, due to <br /> changes made by COE-11 days. <br /> • Total additional work related days-31 days. <br /> Contract Time <br /> There are 53 calendar days added to this Contract. <br /> • At the time Change Order# 1 was written, it was agreed to add calendar days to the Contract <br /> on Change Order# 2, even though some of the delays occurred prior to Change Order# 1. <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br />
