1 Section 37: Section 23071 of the National Electrical Code, 1978 Edition, as <br /> 2 herein adopted, is hereby amended by adding a new Subsection "C": <br /> 3 <br /> "All main service panels supplying electric furnaces shall be main breaker <br /> 4 type." <br /> 5 <br /> Section 38: Section 310-5 of the National Electrical Code, 1978 Edition, is <br /> 6 <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 "MINIMUM SIZE CONDUCTORS": <br /> 9 a. Commercial-Industrial Buildings: Whether solid or stranded, <br /> conductors shall not be smaller than No. 12 copper or No. 10 aluminum or <br /> 10 copper clad aluminum. <br /> 11 "Exception No. 1": For flexible cords as permitted by Section 400-12. <br /> 12 "Exception No. 2": For fixture wire as permitted by Section 410-23. <br /> 13 "Exception No. 3": For fractional hp motors as permitted by Section 430- <br /> 22. <br /> 14 <br /> "Exception No. 4": For cranes andhoists as permitted by Section 610-14. <br /> 15 <br /> "Exception No. 5": For elevator control and signaling circuits as <br /> 16 permitted by Section 620-12. <br /> 17 "Exception No. 6": For Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 circuits as permitted <br /> by Sections 725-16, 725-37 and 725-40. <br /> 18 <br /> "Exception No. 7": For fire protective signaling circuits as permitted by <br /> 19 Sections 760-16, 760-27 and 760-30. <br /> 20 b.
