Create a larger bus shelter and provide more <br /> seating at Baker View Apartments and relocate the <br /> existing bus shelter to another location on the <br /> Everett Housing Authority property. This project <br /> will be accomplished with the Housing Authority' s <br /> cooperation. ($1, 800) <br /> 4. Install playground equipment in Riverdale Park. <br /> ($1, 992) <br /> C. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1. Help from the Council for a Greater Everett with <br /> neighborhood organizing. ($875) <br /> 2. Planting of evergreen trees as a buffer along both <br /> sides of the freeway from Everett Avenue to 19th <br /> Street. ($4 , 000) <br /> 3. Home Weatherization Program; this program would be <br /> for low and moderate income residents of Riverside <br /> and would be to provide attic insulation and weather <br /> stripping. ($10, 000) <br /> 4. Contingency for the above projects b) and c) . <br /> ($1, 791) <br /> Section 3: Should costs be less for the above projects than <br /> originally estimated, projects receiving the next highest neigh- <br /> borhood priority shall be included for funding. If project costs <br /> exceed the estimates given, the lowest priority project or <br /> projects will be dropped for funding. <br /> Section 4 : If any of the above projects is started but not com- . <br /> pleted, completion of the project (s) will be automatically funded <br /> with any 1981 Block Grant funds receive, by the neighborhood <br /> where an uncompleted project is located. <br /> Section 5 : All of the above projects shall conform to the re- <br /> quirements of the City Ordinance 555--70, as amended by City <br /> Ordinance 655-80. Determination of the appropriate standards to <br /> impose shall be made by the City Engineer. <br /> Section 6 : The total estimated cost of the improvements herein <br /> authorized is $100, 000 which will include all costs related to <br /> design, construction, contract administration, plan development <br /> and associated costs. <br /> (2) <br />
