• 1 ORDINANCE NO. 779-g0 AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 2 and 9 of Ordinance No. 630-79, creating a special con- struction fund entitled "1979 Block Grant Neigh- borhood Improvement Fund No. 333" , as amended by Ordinance No. 667-80, reallocating the Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements appropriation of $100, 000 and reallocating the Lowell Neigh- borhood Improvements appropriation of $100 , 000. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: Section 1: That Sections 2 and 9 of Ordinance No. 630-79, as amended by Ordinance No. 667-80, which read as follows : Section 2 : Authorization is hereby given to provide for the development of contract plans, specifications and detailed cost estimates and construction required to provide the following: A. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements - (as amended by Riverside residents on October 30, 1979) : 1. Overlay Cedar, 19th to 21st, widen and install curbs both sides . There is an additional $400 of funds from the 1978 Block Grant Neighborhood Im- provements Fund No. 329, Program 718, Work Order 713 . (Estimated Cost: $50, 000) 2. For mailing and copying expenses for Greater Riverside Organization (G.R.O. ) meetings . This will be paid for from 1978 Block Grant Neighbor- hood Improvements Fund No. 329 , Program 718 , Work Order 714 . (Cost: $300) 3. Replace sections of sidewalks on Highland between 23rd and Everett Avenue. (Estimated Cost: $12, 797) 4 . Install drainage tile on 2400 block of Highland and on Walnut between 21st and 22nd. (Estimated Cost: $6, 000) B. Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements : 1. Complete any 1978 Port Gardner Neighborhood projects which were approved by City Council in 1978 but can- not be completed with 1978 Port Gardner Block Grant funds, up to a maximum of $10 , 000. 2 . Two reflective tape crosswalk signs on the north sides of the 35th and Hoyt intersection and the 36th and Hoyt intersection. (Estimated Cost: $300) (1)
