Implementation ,._ <br /> The Metro Everett Plan is implemented through various regulatory, budgetary and policy channels. The following sections <br /> identify the implementation measures that are necessary. <br /> Planning Documents <br /> The following actions are required for the Metro Everett Plan: <br /> I. Adopt new Metro Everett Subarea Plan. A new subarea plan is not subject to the annual docket process under <br /> GMA. <br /> 2. Amend existing Comprehensive Plan. GMA requires consistency between the various plans and development <br /> regulations. The following changes to the city's current comprehensive plan would be required: <br /> a) Amend the Metropolitan Center boundary <br /> b) Amend the Land Use Designations <br /> c) Other items as necessary to ensure consistency <br /> 3. Repeal the Downtown Plan. The 2006 Downtown Plan would be repealed and replaced with the new Metro Everett <br /> Subarea Plan. <br /> 4. Repeal the Everett Station Plan. The 2005 Everett Station Plan would be repealed and replaced with the new Metro <br /> Everett Subarea Plan. <br /> 5. Amend the Downtown Everett Streetscape Plan. The Downtown Streetscape Plan (Resolution No. 6106) would be <br /> amended to reflect the Metro Everett Plan. <br /> Regulatory Ordinances <br /> The following actions are required to ensure consistency with the Metro Everett Plan: <br /> 1. Adopt new zoning districts. The Metro Everett Plan introduces three new zoning districts: Urban Commercial Mixed, <br /> Urban Residential, and Urban Light Industrial. <br /> 2. Adopt new use and development standards. New use and development standards to implement the Metro Everett <br /> Plan are drafted concurrent with the Plan. <br /> 3. Adopt and/or amend parking standards. The Metro Everett Plan is recommending a new approach to parking <br /> standards. A streamlined Parking Chapter will be drafted for consideration. <br /> Appendix A, Implementation I August 29,2018 <br />
